Dr Gillian Granville is the Director and has 18 years experience at national level in the NHS, the Department of Health, and the non-governmental sector. She has delivered a number of evaluation and implementation projects across systems in areas such as health and health inequalities, health trainers, midlife, ageing and life course development, men's health, intergenerational approaches and volunteers' health and wellbeing. She has published extensively in these topics, as well as in policy and research implementation methodologies
Gillian's strategic experience is underpinned by grass roots practice as a professional nurse, midwife and health visitor. She has a doctorate in women's health. She is a visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Research on Ageing, University of Southampton, and a Senior Associate at the Health Services Management Centre, University of Birmingham.
